I'm not to keen on small scale sewing projects. Examples are children's clothing, doll clothes, hand sanitizer holders, key ring straps, etc. However, I do like a great small bag.
This little pouch by Simple Artful Stuff is a quick sew that requires very little fabric and a reasonable length zipper.
This is a great little bag to keep cosmetics in at your desk at work or to through in your larger bag. It's small, but you can fit alot in there. Compact, blush, brushes, lipstick, liners, etc.
The instructions are impeccable. Very detailed and thorough. So in conclusion due to the very detailed instructions and minimal supply requirements, this bag is very beginner friendly.
P. S. You could also modify this pouch to make it a small purse for a little girl.
