Simplicity 8830 Pattern Review

I’ve always loved a great shirt dress. They are super comfortable and can be dressed up or down. This pattern covered that and then some.

This pattern is super easy to make if you can manage buttonholes and buttons.

1. Pattern: Simplicity 8830, View A

2. Pattern Size: 16-24

3. Fabric:  Pinpoint Oxford

4. Cut Size: 16

5. Modifications: (Shortened neck to waist length)

6. Likes: The fit, breast and side pockets

7. Dislikes: Sleeves

Pleated back

Conclusion:  Great dress, great fit and an easy sew. Not too keen on the sleeves. What’s a girl to do?
