Simplicity 9274

We planned a Friday Funday at work last Friday. The theme was Hawaiian. As I'm contemplating whether or not to follow the rules. I am not a huge fan of attire themed events. I had nothing of the sort in my closet. Thanks to recently having gone through my fabric stash,. I recalled this pretty floral print fabric. The wild thing is I purchased that fabric almost 4 years ago while vacationing in Tahiti. Completely forgot about it.

Now for the good part. I already had plans to make this top so the pattern pieces were already cut and ready. Here goes!

This is a quick, easy, confident beginner sew. The only notion needed is thread.

I chose View B. It's always the sleeves that get me. ☺

And like with other makes, I was under a bit of a time crunch to get this top done. I'm talking in less than 4 hours done.

Only 6 pieces for any of the 3 views.

  1. Pattern Cut Size: 16

  2. View: B

  3. Fabric Exterior:  Silky Smooth Cotton

  4. Modifications: None

  5. Likes: Simple Construction, Nice Fit and again... those sleeves ☺

  6. Dislikes: None. I did forget to adjust my back of neck to waist measurements. I'll fix that on the next go around.

Conclusion: This is a great pattern. Very beginner friendly if you are comfortable with neck facings and sleeves.

You better make you one!
