I ran out to the store this morning in an effort to avoid the crowds. No, not because of Covid 19. Early morning Saturday errands have been my modus operandi for years.
I ran into Jo-Ann Fabric to grab a Simplicity pattern. Run in and run out says every sewist around the world. 😂 It never works out that way. I peruse the aisles and to my delight. What do I hear calling my name?
Yep! That’s right. A gallon of Mary Ellen’s Best Press. Holy Smokes Batman!
Now I have a reason to hang on to small bottles.
This size can never be found in stores. It’s always been an online only item. Not only do I find it, but it’s regular price and I have a 50% coupon. Happy Saturday indeed!
The gallon size cost me $24.95 before sales tax. The size usually found in stores is a 16.9 oz bottle for $9.99. You do the math.
I have been using this ironing spray for years. Long before I began sewing. It has a nice scent. Gives a crisp, clean starch like finish without the nasty white flakes and hard/stiff finish.
So for all of ironers out there, this one isn’t just for the sewing world.
Nice crisp ironed finish. Get your masks here.
Until next time!
